One aspect of the Big Deal is the opportunity it brings to unite churches and communities under a common 'banner'. It is always a great encouragement for volunteers to read about their achievements in the local papers. There have also been some exciting stories on local radio and TV.

The plan is to include advice for project and event organisers on the best approach to engage positively with the media. One helpful website is the Manchester Church of England Diocese who provide excellent advice and sample press releases for churches to use - click here to follow the link.
